Calorie Counting

Use this calorie counting chart to design your own meal plans.

Information is power, the more informed you are the easier it will be to make positive decisions. Don't become obsessed by calorie counting, it's just another tool for you to use to improve your diet.

Your main focus should be on having a balanced meal containing all the key elements (protein, carbs, natural fats & fibre). A good rule of thumb is to include plenty of colour on your plate, the more colour the better.

Remember to think about the importance of portion control, eat until you start to feel full and then stop, never force food into your system.

Once you become accustomed to eating healthy foods you will be surprised at the variety of choice that is available to you. Never be afraid to try new foods, especially with vegetables, this will allow you to use your imagination when preparing meals and keep your diet fresh.
